I’m Shreya Sridhar,

An aspiring UX designer with a background in industrial design, currently in my first year of the MFA in User Experience Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.

My journey into design began unexpectedly during school summers, when creativity became a way to stay curious and occupied. What started as making things with patience, intention, and passion slowly turned into something deeper, I realized I wanted to create not just for myself, but for others. I became drawn to designing products and services that have purpose, meaning, and the ability to impact people’s lives.

I’m a user-oriented designer who leverages design thinking to craft impactful experiences through human-centered principles that balance strategy, empathy, and creativity. I value going deep—understanding user needs through research, listening closely, and translating insights into thoughtful, intuitive solutions. The moment a problem is validated by the very users it was designed for is what excites me most.

For me, every problem, solution, and experience has a story behind it—and a story ahead of it. UX is where storytelling meets problem-solving, and my goal is to design experiences that feel meaningful, intentional, and human.
